This month, you’re probably planning on seeing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justicebut there are plenty of other films hitting cinemas. Here are ten releases we think you should consider seeing this month!

10 Films to see in March 2016 That Aren’t Batman v Superman

1) London Has Fallen – 3/3

Sequel to the silly but fun Olympus Has Fallen, and with most of the cast returning, this old-fashioned action film should be more of the same.

2) Hail, Caeser! – 4/3

The Coen brothers can always be relied upon to make something interesting and fun, and this should be no exception. It also boasts one of the best ensemble casts I’ve seen for a while.

Robert Redford and Cate Blanchett should give this true life drama a lot of weight, and anybody interested in journalism vs politics could be in for a treat.

6) The Witch – 11/3

This slow burn horror / thriller has one of the most terrifying trailers I’ve seen for a long time, and with interesting subject matter, there should be a lot fans of the genre can get out of this film.

7) 10 Cloverfield Lane – 18/3

This trailer came out of nowhere, making it the second instalment in the Cloverfield franchise to use marketing in an alternative way. Really, we don’t know much about this film yet, and that’s what makes it so appealing!

8) The Boy – 18/3

This is something a little bit more mainstream for horror fans, and while it probably won’t see the same kind of critical acclaim The Witch has received, if you like a few good jumps this should be one for you.

9) High-Rise – 18/3

The trailer for this film is amazing, even though I would struggle to tell you anything about the plot. Director Ben Wheatley has some fan favourite films under his belt, and this could help get him some new fans.
